Spotlight_2: Joey Sanchez, CO

At the early age of 5 Joey Sanchez knew he wanted to box, he began his journey 3 years later at the Top Notch Academy. Fast forward to the present and now 11 he trains at the Rodarte Center Boxing Gym in Greeley, CO. With his dad Joseph running the competitive amateur boxing program at Rodarte, Joey has the opportunity to really submerge himself into the sport of boxing.
To date Joey has competed at the Junior Olympics in West Virginia, the Junior National Golden Gloves in Las Vegas and the Silver Gloves Regionals in CA. Currently he is preparing for his State Silver Gloves Championship bout today (11/18/17) to earn the opportunity to go back Regionals.
